Her dissertation, \u201cLa aventura de escribir: parodia y metaficci\u00f3n en La t\u00eda Julia y el escribidor de Mario Vargas Llosa,\u201d was later published as a book. She\u00a0pursues her academic interests through research, presentations, and publications. Her research has been published in various journals\u2014<em>Pembroke Magazine<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Consensus, Nueva Literatura Hisp\u00e1nica<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Film Journal<\/em>,\u00a0<em>L&#8217;Erudit franco-espagnol<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Romance Notes<\/em>, among others. Dr. Wendorff strives to get her students involved with the Hispanic community through service learning. She has developed and managed programs in Peru, Brasil and Spain and was visiting professor of Spanish at Tomsk State Pedagogical University (Russia). She holds an MA in comparative literature from New York University and a PhD in language sciences (concentration\u00a0in comparative literatures and cultures) from Universidad Nacional de C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina.\u00a0 In 2020, she was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the LLILAS Benson Library at the University of Texas at Austin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Daniel Arbino<\/strong> is the Head of Collection Development at the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota in Latin American literatures and cultures (2013) and his research interests include Critical Race Theory and post-colonial articulations in Caribbean and U.S. Latino literatures. Author of several articles regarding testimonial literature and narratives of the self. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens University of Charlotte and a Master of Arts degree from Durham University in England. Marili is expected to graduate with a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Florida in 2022. Research interests focus on college affordability for Latinx and undocumented students. Marili\u2019s work experience\u00a0covers\u00a0international and multicultural settings in different sectors including education.
