Liliana Wendorff earned her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she specialized in contemporary Spanish-American narrative, and minored in Latin American studies. Her dissertation, \u201cLa aventura de escribir: parodia y metaficci\u00f3n en La t\u00eda Julia y el escribidor de Mario Vargas Llosa,\u201d was later published as a book. She\u00a0pursues her academic interests through research, presentations, and publications. Her research has been published in various journals\u2014Pembroke Magazine<\/em>,\u00a0Consensus, Nueva Literatura Hisp\u00e1nica<\/em>,\u00a0The Film Journal<\/em>,\u00a0L’Erudit franco-espagnol<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Romance Notes<\/em>, among others. Dr. Wendorff strives to get her students involved with the Hispanic community through service learning. She has developed and managed programs in Peru, Brasil and Spain and was visiting professor of Spanish at Tomsk State Pedagogical University (Russia). She also researches the works of Peruvian writers Jos\u00e9 de Pi\u00e9rola and Daniel Alarc\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Karen Lorraine Cresci<\/strong> is a postdoctoral fellow for the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and an assistant professor at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina. She holds an MA in comparative literature from New York University and a PhD in language sciences (concentration\u00a0in comparative literatures and cultures) from Universidad Nacional de C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina.\u00a0 In 2020, she was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the LLILAS Benson Library at the University of Texas at Austin.<\/p>\n

Daniel Arbino<\/strong> is the Head of Collection Development at the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota in Latin American literatures and cultures (2013) and his research interests include Critical Race Theory and post-colonial articulations in Caribbean and U.S. Latino literatures.
